We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic tech team. Your expertise in server management, security, and database administration, in addition to proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB, will be crucial. What will you do?

• Develop and maintain server-side logic for our web and mobile applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Build and manage RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js, supporting the functionalities of our product.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and UI/UX designers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, implementing robust security measures and data protection.
• Design and manage database solutions, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval with MongoDB and other relevant databases.
• Administer and manage server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to industry best practices, and conduct code reviews.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software to address technical issues.
• Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
• Stay updated with emerging trends in backend development, server management, and security practices.
• Work closely with the product team to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Who can apply?

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Backend Developer, with a proven track record in developing and deploying web applications.
• Proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
• Strong experience in server management, including setup, administration, and optimization.
• In-depth knowledge of security practices, including data protection and vulnerability management.
• Expertise in database administration and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to think algorithmically and a keen eye for debugging and optimizing code.
• Experience in a startup environment and building products from scratch is highly preferred.
