THE ROLE

Cloud Architect

Location: Mumbai   Experience: 10-14 yrs. 

Role

We seek a highly skilled Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on security.

This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in delivering scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions.

The role will require collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to maximize business value while mitigating risks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Define, implement, manage, and improve operational support processes

·        Define and implement ops reporting and support dashboards & manage platform operations support

·        Automating cloud solutions using tools standard in the Cloud / DevOps industry.

·        Working in a scientific way by forming hypotheses, experimentation, and delivering incremental improvements

·        Implement and manage cloud monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.

·        Foster a culture of security by design and operational excellence within the cloud environment.

·        Actively support operational teams and other stakeholder teams to maintain business continuation and maintain customer satisfaction

·        Ensures the adherence to standards, policies, and procedures

·        Solving business and operational problems with Automation or processes.

·        You will be working with SRE, Automation and Cloud Operations job functions.

·        Collaborate with the Security Operations Centre (SOC) to integrate cloud security into overall security operations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

·        A technical degree (Engineering, MCA) from a reputed institute

·        5+ years’ experience working with AWS.

·        8+ years of total relevant experience  

·        Effective verbal and written communication skills and management of priorities and deliverables.

·        Proven experience in cloud architecture design and implementation, with a strong emphasis on security.

·        Experience with managing multiple production workloads on AWS

·        Scripting - Python and Bash

·        Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and their security implications.

·        An appreciation of building secure, scalable infrastructure.

·        Experience with cloud cost optimization strategies.

·        Terraform / CloudFormation Working experience. 

·        Certifications in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) and security (e.g., AWS Certified Security Specialty).
