Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop comprehensive data migration strategies and plans to move data between systems, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Assess current data structures and workflows, and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate progress.
• Monitor data migration processes and troubleshoot issues, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery.
• Document migration processes, architectures, and best practices for future reference.
• Advise on data governance and data quality initiatives throughout the migration process.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Data Architect with a strong focus on data migration projects.
• Expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with various data migration tools and technologies.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data quality assessment.
• Knowledge of database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or similar.
• Experience with cloud data solutions is a plus (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
