About this Role

As a part of your daily duties, you will be working on the Predii platform including microservices, REST APIs, machine learning libraries, customized algorithms, and NoSQL datastores. You will be dealing with technologies like JavaScript, Angular 8, REST APIs, Nginx, and Centos. You will be expected to make test-driven development a part of your work routine. You will take the initiative in extending new features from scratch, and will also be responsible for making infrastructural decisions in terms of estimating and delivering quarterly goals. You’ll get a chance to proactively work on different problems in big data and an opportunity to work on the latest technology stack. Your role would be that of an individual contributor who will be expected to take ownership of certain product features and take initiatives to improve existing products.

As a Data Engineer, your chief responsibilities include interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, and providing ongoing reports. You would also need to develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. You will identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. You will also filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.

Role & Responsibility of Data Engineer

• Minimum Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or relevant field
• Prov n working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (NoSQL, etc),
• programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks) 
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, powerBI) • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information
• with attention to detail and accuracy
• Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings
• Basic knowledge of shell scripting and Linux commands
