We are looking for:

A passionate, entrepreneurial, hands-on Director of engineering to join the Darwinbox Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of application and front-end / Back-end engineers to drive innovation in full-stack product development, while relentlessly improving performance, scalability, and maintainability. 

Experience​: 12 - 15 years of experience 

Skills Required​:  Architecture, Distributed Systems, High-Performance Computing (HPC), Multithreading 

Requirements: 

• ​Technically Hands-on, Prior experience with scalable Architecture managing team of up to 30 EM/Sr. Engineers / Engineers, and coaching mentoring while maintaining a hands-on role with code development.
• ​Experience working with Product Managers and UX Designers.
• ​Experience with web technologies: PHP, , NodeJs, Javascript, NoSQL, etc.
• ​No stack preference, prejudice or biases – Should be open to work on, explore or move to any tech stack, to begin with, or in the future.
• ​Experience with high-performance websites catering to millions of daily traffic is a plus.
• Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• ​Experience and ability to bring in software engineering life cycle best practice.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
