What You’ll Do

• Play a critical role in shaping the product & technical vision for the team while working closely with product and business leaders across the company.

• Be an authority on the architecture and design for the team's work. Contribute to design and code reviews.

• Build, lead, develop and coach teams of top technical talent; plan staffing and recruitment decisions.

• Define, implement and refine processes to make your team more effective.

• Nurture a culture of innovation and experimentation.

• Plan pace of delivery to balance high-growth urgencies while avoiding burnout.

• Ownership of end to end customer experience for your team’s products.

What You’ll Need

Mandatory

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline.

• Strong computer science fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, operating systems, etc.

• 6-10 years of core software product development experience, designing and building web applications.

• Experience in taking architecture design and tech stack decisions for systems working at high scale and low latencies.

• Understanding of at least one backend language in depth e.g. Java, Python, Go, Node JS.

• Experience managing/mentoring a small-medium team.

• Experience leading small-medium scale projects end-to-end on your own.

• Passion for building a data-driven culture, growing talent, and hunger for making a big impact.
