FactSet ( A product based company in Fintech domain) is hiring Engineering Team Lead C++ for Hyderabad location.

Engineering Team Lead (C++)

Mode of employment: Permanent with FactSet

Work Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid module)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Handle a team of 6 or more C++ Engineers for product development, production systems, on-call and vendor tests.
• Adaptation and following of Agile and Scrum technologies for day-to-day changes in the team.
• Creation and tracking of Issues, and product development in agile environment using Jira
• Development, testing and deployment of software to deliver real time financial data content
• Work closely with product development team to release exchange feeds to production
• Work independently and deliver in a deadline focused environment
• Take up weekly on-call responsibilities on a rotational basis
• Manage production releases, bug fixes and respond to outages in a time critical fashion
• Participate in peer code reviews, maintaining project/operational documentation and help with training/coaching of less experienced team members

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Strong people management skills and should have an experience in leading a small team and project managing experience with at least 2 repartees.
• 4-6 years of software development experience.
• 2+ years of developing C++ applications on Linux.
• Willingness to handle weekly On-call and mandatory Tests including Weekends on rotational basis.
• Understanding of Issue tracker and product development tools like Jira.
• Ability to function at a high level in ever changing environment.
• Knowledge of STL and Boost library is highly desirable.
• Working knowledge of Python, Perl, Shell Script, Cloud technologies (AWS) is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong in data structures and algorithms.
• Comfortable working in a real-time, If required
• Comfortable working with geographically diverse team.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• B Tech/BE/M Tech/ME in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed college/university.
