Reports to: Head of Engineering

About the Role
Responsibilities:
• Deliver scalable, low latency, and cost-efficient solutions to clients
• Work closely with the founders, the engineering leaders, to create elegant, usable, responsive and interactive interface
• Be a part of conversations with experts from the industry and implement innovative solutions based on business needs
• Test completed tasks in ongoing projects as a practice, participate in peer reviews, and ensure the software is working before delivering it to the clients
• Establish and maintain code quality as per the needs of the customers and standards in assigned projects
• Implement and support compliance necessary for the software

• Qualifications:
•  3-5 years of prior experience with hands-on programming preferably as a Backend Engineer with a strong focus on database optimization
• Expert knowledge of Cassandra DB or any other NoSQL DB with high transaction volumes
• Expertise in Python, Django and with data structures and algorithms
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, and one of the following ReactJS/ Angular/ VueJS
• Foundational knowledge of HTML/ CSS, and SASS
• Ability to design for scale and performance, and to do peer code reviews
• Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle)
• Familiarity with the pharma or packaging industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with Azure is a plus.
• Familiarity with Redis is a plus.
