Your role

Solera engineers are trusted with the responsibility of designing and developing software that embraces quality and reliability while delivering performance across all platforms. Your role will be to spearhead these efforts and be a leader and mentor for others on the engineering team, specifically by

• Designing and developing services and applications for Solera fleet (eDriving).

• Build highly secure, scalable, and reliable applications/services.

• Leading design reviews and code reviews for components and systems.

• Mentoring engineers in technologies, patterns, and best practices while leading by example in your areas of expertise.

• Diagnosing, characterizing, and addressing performance, scale, and cross-platform stability issues.

• Partner with product, QA, and other technical teams in test strategy, integration testing, release planning, and coordination.

What we’re looking for

• Masters or Bachelor in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent

• Broad full-stack experience consisting of front-end, services, and data layers.

• 5-8 years of experience in Enterprise/ Internet / E-Commerce commercial software product development.

• Experience building holistic web-based software solutions, API design, and interactions between servers and clients.

• 3-4 years of experience building reliable and scalable microservices.

• Strong API designer with a demonstrated history of working effectively with front-end, data engineering, quality, and operations teams.

• Experience leveraging CI/CD and robust build/test automation, and containerization (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Sonar, Docker, etc.)

• Experience with web and public/private cloud services (AWS, Nginx/Apache)

• Must Have: Nodejs, NestJS, TypeScript/JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Angular.

• Good to have: SQL, keyclock, React, PHP, Python, MongoDB, Redis
