We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with a DevOps focus to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between software development, quality assurance, and IT operations. You will play a crucial role in automating and streamlining our operations and processes; building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations; and troubleshooting and resolving issues in our dev, test, and production environments. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the high availability, performance, and scalability of our infrastructure.

What will you do?

• Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS, Azure, or similar platforms.
• Design, manage, and maintain tools to automate operational processes.
• Develop and maintain solutions for operational administration, system/data backup, disaster recovery, and security/performance monitoring.
• Design and configure servers for reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with the development team to bring new features and services into production.
• Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations.
• Build, release, and manage the configuration of all production systems.
• Manage a continuous integration and deployment methodology for server-based technologies.
• Work alongside architecture and engineering teams to design and implement scalable software services.
• Ensure critical system security through the use of best in class cloud security solutions.
• Stay current with new technology trends, researching and implementing innovative tools and processes that improve the reliability and efficiency of our systems.

Who can apply?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role or similar software engineering role.
• Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration, and AWS.
• Experience with databases such as SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, Mongo, and/or Cassandra.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, Perl, etc.
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools.
• Proficient with git and git workflows (GitHub).
• Experience in network, server, and application-status monitoring.
• Strong command of software-automation production systems (Jenkins and Selenium).
• Expertise in software development methodologies.
