Machine Learning Scientist

What you will get to do:

• Design & develop state-of-the-art AI capabilities end-to-end from conception to production for Observe.AI’s product offerings, in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Work with advanced NLP approaches and Large Language Models (LLMs), applying instruction tuning, human-preference modeling, and parameter-efficient fine-tuning methods (e.g., p-tuning, adapters, LoRA) to enhance LLM performance for contact-center specific applications.
• Lead the collection, creation, and annotation of domain-specific datasets to train Large Language Models (LLMs) for various tasks and applications.
• Define performance and quality metrics for evaluating AI and system components across different platforms.
• Collaborate with the machine learning team on innovative projects, mentor junior members, influence peers and stakeholders, and engage with engineers, product managers, customer-facing teams, and customers to identify challenges and opportunities, aiming to develop precise solutions for specific issues.
• Contribute to the community through tech blogs and publishing papers in ML/ NLP conferences like EMNLP, ACL, etc.
