OpenStack Architect

Primary Skills:

1. Hands on experience with OpenStack framework. Ability to set up private cloud using OpenStack environment. Awareness to various OpenStack services and modules
2. Strong experience with OpenStack services like Neutron, Cinder, Keystone, etc.
3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Ruby, or Go.
4. Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration and networking.
5. Familiarity with virtualization technologies like KVM or VMware.
6. Experience with configuration management and IaC tools like Ansible, Terraform.
7. Subject matter expertise in OpenStack security
8. Solid experience with Linux and shell scripting
9. Sound knowledge of cloud computing concepts & technologies, such as docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Azure etc.
10. Ability to configure OpenStack environment for optimum resources
11. Good knowledge of security, operations in open stack environment
12. Strong knowledge of Linux internals, networking, storage, security
13. Strong knowledge of VMware Enterprise products (ESX, vCenter)
14. Hands on experience with HEAT orchestration
15. Experience with CI/CD, monitoring, operational aspects
16. Strong experience working with Rest API’s, JSON
17. Exposure to Big data technologies ( Messaging queues, Hadoop/MPP, NoSQL databases)
18. Hands on experience with open source monitoring tools like Grafana/Prometheus/Nagios/Ganglia/Zabbix etc.
19. Strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory
20. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills are mandatory
