Operations Research Programmer / Developer

What you’ll do for us:

• Design and development of software modules and business process logic
• Drive improvements to software engineering practices.
• Formulate & Develop new math model as per requirements,
• Support existing models,
• Do performance improvement activities for existing solvers
• Write clean, well-tested code.
• Write unit tests for new developed functionalities.
• Root cause analysis/debugging of issues and drive resolution
• Collaborate with related teams to achieve goals.

What you’ll have...

• MS/PhD in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Management Science or a related field with 4+ years of industry experience
• Deep expertise in building mathematical models and prototyping
• Deep expertise in mathematical optimization techniques
• Expert in Python and proficient in more than one more major programming languages (C#/ Java, Python)
• Practical experience in implementing linear and non-linear optimization methods accompanied by expertise in the use of OR tools (e.g. CPLEX, Gurobi).
• Strong communication, influencing and partnership skills
• Experience building, iterating, and validating predictive data models from scratch
• Ability to distill problem definitions, models, and constraints from informal business requirements; and to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
