What You’ll Do

• Create test cases for both existing features and new user stories.
• Use JavaScript, TypeScript, Cypress, and Supertest to design and build automation frameworks.
• Set up the CI/CD pipeline on GitHub Actions specifically for the API automation framework.
• Identify and write specialized tests on various platforms (Windows/Linux/Mac) to ensure overall system quality, focusing on end-to-end testing, and customer scenarios, including API and UI automation.
• Manage the release process for the team and keep stakeholders updated accordingly.
• Analyze defects, including those from UAT and rejected/duplicate defects. Create test closure summary reports.
• Demonstrate the ability to work in an Agile environment, utilizing critical thinking and analytical skills to examine bug reports, prioritize necessary tests, determine daily status report content, and estimate task execution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend end-to-end product use cases.

Work Experience

What You’ve Done

• Total 7+ Years of work experience in design and development of building test automation frameworks.
• Experience in coding language like JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js
• Experience in working with Automation tools/frameworks like Cypress, RPA
• Experience in UI and API automation
• Experience in Performance testing tools like jMeter, K6 etc
• Relational DB knowledge
• Experience in CD/CI tools like Jenkins, Tekton etc
• Preferred knowledge in IAM (Identity and Access management) systems
• Preferred understanding in how Containerised deployments work using Docker, K8s etc
• Agile, BDD driven testing understanding
• Should show interest in exploring new technologies/tools as needed
