In this role, you will be one of the technical experts on the Cohesity Advanced Services automation team in delivering large scale projects for our strategic customers. In alignment with technical requirements and at the direction of the lead AS developer, you will own delivery of the solution to ensure a successful outcome for our customers.

WORK TIMINGS: IST 7:30 PM to 4 AM (open for remote)

General Responsibilities

• Tools knowledge
  • Jira
  • Confluence (nice to have)
  • Lucid charts, Visio, etc for workflow diagrams
• Knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum
• A strong team player
• Strong communication skills
• Fine tune backlog and adjust scope/plans to deliver committed features
• Own & develop designs for complete feature set
• Engage in technical discussions with stakeholders -- Engineers, Architects, Project Managers, and customer stakeholders
• Perform in-depth root cause analysis, implement code fixes to resolve product defects
• Problem-solver who can dive deep to solve complex problems/issues.
• Bring good testing methodologies and passion for building quality solutions
• Ability to articulate design and implementation choices
• Ability to make decisions based on data and influence stakeholders

Technical Requirements

• Expertise in Python (strong logical knowledge)
  • Direct experience in projects using Python
• REST API’s - Medium knowledge
• GIT commands and bitbucket
• MongoDB - Basic knowledge
• JavaScript - Basic knowledge
• Storage automation knowledge (Cohesity specific - nice to have)
  • Data protection workflows
  • Backup workflows
