Position: R&D Senior Member of Technical Staff, 3DVis Framework

Previous experience: at least 5 years 3D real-time programming experience with C# or C++ language

The job
As part of our global XR & Visualization group, you’ll collaborate with a team of skilled software development engineers in the Engine Framework team to design and develop new features for the AVEVA cross-platform 3D Technology. This role will see you work closely with CVS Engine Framework team.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with scrum colleagues on the development of Aveva’s proprietary 3D Rendering Engine.
• Design and implement new features and improve user experiences on high-performance 3D Rendering Framework and tools for all supported platforms.
• Provide support to the execution and delivery teams.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or similar technical discipline.
• At least 5 years 3D real-time programming experience with C# or C++ language
• A good working knowledge of OOP design patterns, unit testing, data structures, multi-threading. Writing code driven by performances and maintainability.
• Good understanding of 3D Math, Linear Algebra, Trigonometry, Linear Transformations
• Good Experience in developing complex systems that involve communication, multi-threading, real-time rendering.
• Good knowledge of English language.
• Experience in Scrum methodology
• Experience in developing software with modern tools like ADO, Git etc.

Great Skills To Have

• Technical: Experience with cross-platform XR game engines (Unreal, Unity, etc), experience with C# language, software development under linux OS.
