As a Senior Consultant specializing in DevOps and Quality Assurance at Ascendion, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration of our products and services into client environments. You will be responsible for optimizing development workflows, implementing robust testing strategies, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development, testing, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing frameworks (Selenium + Java) into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for both backend and frontend applications.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues in production environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical challenges and improve overall product quality.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in DevOps, QA, and cloud computing.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Overall Proven experience of 5+ years in DevOps, Quality Assurance, and automation testing in a Linux environment.
• Strong proficiency in AWS cloud platform along with hands-on experience in cloud-native services and infrastructure.
• Expertise in implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, ISTQB, etc.) are a plus.
