Responsibilities

· Proficiency in Python Programming language and ability to Design/Develop NLP applications for enterprise

· Using effective text representation techniques and classification algorithms

· Training and evaluating models using Python NLTK libraries

· Knowledge of Machine Learning algrothims & basic Deep Learning implementation

· Ability to work in Agile framework for product development

· Knowledge of Sagemaker & Other AWS services would be an advantage

· Utilize SAS-based platforms and tools to develop data models, algorithms, and analytical solutions with a strong emphasis on sentiment analysis and theme extraction.

· Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from diverse media sources.

· Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to extract valuable insights, sentiment, and themes from media data.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that meet business objectives.

· Develop and maintain data pipelines for automated data extraction and transformation.

· Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights effectively.

· Stay updated on industry trends and contribute to the development of innovative Media Intelligence solutions.

· Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists on the team.

Desired Skillsets:

· Understanding of the problem statement, modeling the problem as Data Science Problem and coming up with algorithmic choices, approach, EDA and Model outcome

· Design the scalable and repeatable process of the solution using Artificial & Recurrent Neural Networks

· Articulation of Approach, EDA and Model results to the relevant stakeholders

· Providing technical leadership and mentoring the team for ML Solution delivery

Requirements

· Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, etc.).

· Proven experience working with SAS-based platforms and tools for data analysis and modeling, with a strong focus on sentiment analysis and theme extraction. Should have used models like - ChatGPT, BARD, Spacy, LSM Models etc..,

· Candidate with relevant 7-10 years experience in the Data scientist role

· Excellent orator and communicator – basic skills to engage with prospects

· Strong proficiency in data preprocessing, data cleaning, and feature engineering.

· Proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning, and deep learning techniques.

· Experience with big data technologies and distributed computing (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).

· Strong programming skills in Python or R for data analysis.

· Excellent data visualization skills (e.g., using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools).

· Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

· Previous experience in the media or advertising industry is a plus.

· Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for working with data.
