At Wingify, our Data Science Team tackles diverse research challenges in Digital Experience Optimization, crafting cutting-edge solutions to help businesses grow. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role, directly engaging with senior leadership while fostering a culture of learning through experimentation. You’ll collaborate with teams across product development, engineering, and customer success to create impactful solutions, blending business insight with rigorous research.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop Advanced Algorithms for Optimization and Experimentation:
- Dive deep into research papers and transform complex theories into actionable models.
- Build and run simulations to validate algorithm efficacy.
- Tackle exciting challenges such as personalization, multivariate testing, and generating insights from A/B test data.
- Build and Deploy Intelligent Products:
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to design user-centric features.
- Simplify complex data insights and hyperparameters to make them accessible to customers.
- Shape new products that address critical customer needs.
- Enhance and Maintain Core Statistical Engines:
- Continuously improve our Bayesian statistical A/B testing engine.
- Solve real-world customer issues like outlier detection, sample ratio mismatches, and A/A test anomalies.
- Develop innovative features based on emerging customer requirements.
- Engage with Customers to Address Needs and Challenges:
- Collaborate directly with customers to gather first-hand feedback and insights.
- Educate users on experimentation nuances and support statistical inquiries.
- Use customer inputs to inform and drive research initiatives.
- Explore New Research Frontiers:
- Conduct personal research to discover novel statistical methods.
- Identify trends and innovations in experimentation through competitor analysis.
- Propose groundbreaking solutions to enhance product capabilities.
What You Bring:
- Experience: 3–6 years in Data Science, with a strong research background and a track record of publications.
- Expertise: Deep understanding of Statistics and Mathematics, particularly in the experimentation domain.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in R, Python, Scala, Java, C++, or similar languages for simulations; SQL experience is a bonus.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Personality: Creative, passionate, and collaborative.
