Primary Responsibilities 

As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for managing all the infrastructure which powers Zepto. The scope of your role will be to manage not only all production systems and networks but also the development, testing, pre-production and UAT environments. In addition, you will work on creating, managing and enhancing the complete end to end CI/CD pipeline and mentoring junior devops engineers. 

• Recommend infrastructure solutions to product and tech teams for roadmap products and innovations.
• You will promote and instill a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency in the software/business processes through out-of-the-box Thinking.
• You are expected to troubleshoot the applications and infrastructure issues to minimize impact on the live production environment.
• You are expected to build automated deployment and handling of large scale distributed infrastructure for web and mobile users.
• Configuration and management of data sources like PostGresSQL, MySQL, Mongo, Elasticsearch, Redis, etc.
• You are expected to mitigate service performance bottlenecks by conducting need-gap analysis to recommend / implement scope of modifications.
• You will work on entire configuration management, managing build-and-release cycles and processes including continuous integration (CI)
• Overseeing routine maintenance procedures and performing diagnostic tests.
• You will manage multiple interfaces (internal and external), relationships, and communication to ensure systems are running
• You will pioneer adopting new DevOps tools and techniques.

What Are We Looking For? 

• 5 -8 years of experience with managing and automation of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.)  using Terraform/ Ansible etc
• Strong Expertise and complete Hands-on on Kubernetes AWS EKS,Ingress,Service Mesh,Helm,Kong.
• Strong infrastructure management experience on tools like AWS Aurora PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, Aerospike,Kafka etc..
• Experience in architecting, designing and executing strategies of Infra deployment in AWS.
• Experience in Infra provisioning automation using tools like Terraform, etc.
• Experience in CI/CD tools like jenkins.
• Worked on Source Control Management Tools like Git, Bitbucket etc.
• Experience with orchestration tools for Cloud automation like Ansible.
• Good knowledge of any scripting language like Python
• Able to easily write bash scripts
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL 
• Must have Problem-solving attitude, Collaborative team spirit and Excellent Troubleshooting.
