Job Description:
Uniphore seeks a detail-oriented AI Quality Assurance Engineer to join our innovative team. You will be instrumental in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our AI systems through rigorous testing. This role demands a deep understanding of both technical and business perspectives, allowing you to bridge the gap between developers, project managers, product owners, and end users. Your ability to collaborate across teams will be crucial in delivering cutting-edge AI solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to evaluate the AI solution.
- Analyze requirements, specifications, and design documents to inform testing strategies.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to understand system requirements and refine testing approaches.
- Leverage expertise in data preparation and cleaning to optimize AI model training.
- Analyze call recordings to identify caller patterns and test the accuracy of AI-generated call flows and summaries.
- Proactively identify, document, and track defects, proposing solutions to enhance AI model performance.
- Generate detailed test reports and communicate findings to development teams.
- Analyze performance metrics and user data to optimize chat or voice bot functionality.
- Validate report accuracy and alignment with client business definitions.

Skills and Experience
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance, particularly with AI systems or complex software applications.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
- Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools.
- Familiarity with working with any leading Conversational AI applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
Desired Experience
- 4+ years of experience in the software quality assurance area.
- Understanding of AI concepts to align UI with Uniphore U-Suite capabilities.
- A master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, any Engineering or a related discipline.
Mandatory Experience
- Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven experience in contact center operations and understanding of related business processes.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira).
- Ability to analyze and test using flowcharts (e.g., Lucid, Visio).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and Hindi.
