Senior Revenue Accountant

Key Responsibilities: 

• Ensure new contracts are added correctly to our revenue support and NetSuite
• Assess new contracts for non-standard terms, and inquire about any non-standard terms that could affect revenue recognition
• Work with billing to ensure that revenue and billing are aligned on project start dates, terminations, and price changes
• Coordinate with the Sales team to identify churn risks on renewing contracts
• Ensure that controls are being followed to ensure contract values are accurately being recognized
• Coordinate with billing and the revenue team to address any change orders or errors.
• Work with business leads to confirm monthly revenue.
• Work independently on Ad-Hoc requests.

Qualifications:

• Preferred - CPA or Chartered Accountant
• Minimum 5 years recent revenue accounting experience
• Experience working with a US firm
• Availability and willingness to work an altered shift to allow for overlap with the US team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and administrative skills
• Ability to work independently, as well as a team member, in a dynamic, fast-paced, and deadline-oriented environment
• Advanced Excel Skills Strong Knowledge of ASC 606
