Cloud data is growing at an ever growing pace and so are the risks with cyber attacks targeted towards cloud data. Some Recent/ongoing Projects Include

• Azure Blob protection and Ransomware detection handling scale of hundreds of millions of objects
• Delivering platform security for major enterprises applying security best practices to help our customers with Rubrik as a last line of defense
• Developing a platform for protecting relational PaaS databases across clouds.

About The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer you are a lead in the team responsible for execution of deep problems working with few other engineers. We expect all our engineers to be self-starters and our Senior Software Engineers to be leaders bringing drive, ideas and acumen. Our goal is to motivate and challenge people to do their best work. Responsibilities

• Build our cloud native protection software using your strong background in distributed systems and cloud.
• Taken on open ended problems and drive the investigation and initial scoping
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve the software.
• Own individual project execution and delivery
• Mentoring and guidance to other team members
• Collaborate with partner teams such as Product Management, QA, UI, UX, documentation and support teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent in computer science or related field
• 4+ years of relevant work experience,
• Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages like Go, Java, C/C++, Scala, Python
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP or other public cloud technologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of Docker, Containers, Kubernetes, microservice architectures is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to review deeply and expertly design and code artifacts.
• Strong understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology, design patterns, and software engineering principles. Understanding of continuous improvement principles and what it means to raise the bar.
• Strong leadership, collaboration and communication skills. Track record of mentoring other team members. Has worked on deep, complex problems independently or as part of a team on making an impactful delivery.
