Saviynt is hiring smart and passionate individuals interested in writing and technology to join our Product Documentation team. 

The Sr. Technical Writer plays a critical role in writing and presenting Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts clearly and concisely for on-prem and cloud-based enterprise-grade products. 

Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with product managers, knowledge engineers, developers, and quality     engineers to understand the product and develop high-quality documentation.
    • Learn the product functionality through interviews with subject matter experts, personal use, and experimentation.
    • Develop product documentation, including online help, integration guides, REST API guides, tutorials, and release notes for different audience groups.
    • Document solution-oriented use cases and scenarios for features that help customers better understand the product.
    • Work with team members to complete projects and assigned tasks within the required timelines.
    • Review documentation for structure, content, technical accuracy, and style.
    • Analyse customer feedback on the use of documentation and prepare, deliver, and follow up with improvements.
    • Guide and mentor junior writers.
    • Propose initiatives/innovative documentation strategies to improve documentation processes, standards, and quality.

Required Qualifications

    • 4+ years of relevant technical writing experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in mass communication/English Literature/Engineering
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong customer orientation
    • Ability to quickly understand IAM concepts and present them as easily comprehensible structured documents.
    • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
    • Knowledge of the documentation process, including writing, editing, graphics, production, Help authoring, and information design
    • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
    • Experience with single-sourcing tools (such as MadCap Flare), Postman, Jira, and Confluence
    • Ability to understand and write MySQL/SQL queries for feature validation relating to Documentation.
    • Knowledge and experience in invoking REST/SOAP webservices using tools such as Postman.
    • Experience with one of the major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
    • Flexible in terms of work hours to meet business objectives.

Desired Skills and Experience

    • Accomplishments in technical writing, such as awards/achievements an added advantage
    • Experience in using Agile methodologies.
    • Knowledge of IAM and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) concepts
    • Experience with any cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
