Hopstack's core product is an advanced SaaS (Software-as-a-service) platform to automate and digitize warehouses and fulfillment centers. Hopstack's advanced digital warehouse software closes the operational visibility and execution control gap between an ERP and a legacy WMS. The Digital warehouse platform also provides out-of-the-box warehouse hardware and software integrations and customizable operational workflows for receiving, putting, picking, packing, sorting, and shipping. The Platform functions as a single point of control for all warehouse operations enabling intelligent control and execution with its built-in AI capabilities. Furthermore, Hopstack's software empowers businesses to gain granular visibility and control of their warehouse operations, eliminate chokepoints, and improve fulfillment throughput without scaling costs.

Responsibilities

• Developing and designing back-end web architecture.
• Building APIs and webhooks for internal and external services.
• Define code architecture decisions to support high-performance products.
• Work with development teams and managers to ideate software solutions.
• Developing well-functioning databases and applications.
• Test software to ensure efficiency.
• Address and improve any technical issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field.
• 6-8 years of experience in Back-end development.
• Previous experience working as a back-end node.js developer.
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, Typescript, MongoDB, GraphQL, and backend-end related tools.
• Experience with queues or message brokers like RabbitMQ, KAFKA, and Amazon SQS.
• Knowledge of Unit testing and testing tools including Jest is an add-on.
• Experience with application architecture design and a deep understanding of MVC patterns.
• Good communication skills.
