Role Description

• We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru.
• This is a full-time, on-site position that demands a strong work ethic and a passion for developing high-quality software solutions.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in :

Back-End Development : Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable back-end systems for our insurance technology solutions.

Software Development : Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.

Programming & OOP : Leverage your expertise in programming languages and object-oriented programming principles to develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Problem-Solving & Analysis : Analyze complex business requirements, identify technical challenges, and develop innovative solutions to address them effectively.

Collaboration & Communication : Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to ensure successful project delivery.

Technical Leadership : Mentor junior engineers, share knowledge, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and technologies.

Qualifications
Essential Skills :

• Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals: Data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming principles, and design patterns.
• Expertise in Back-End Web Development: Proven experience with languages like Java, Python, Node.js, or similar.
• Proficiency in Programming & OOP: Demonstrated ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Experience in designing and developing scalable software solutions: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications in software development (e.g , AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Java Certified Developer).
• Experience in the insurance domain or a strong interest in learning about the insurance industry.
• Contributions to open-source projects or personal projects
