Conviva is looking for a hands-on, upbeat, resourceful Sr. IT Specialist to support coworkers in all departments across the organization. With offices in the US, UK, Spain, India, Singapore, and China as our IT Specialist, you will support both local and global resources during India business hours.
What Success Will Look Like:
- Provide Mac and Windows End User Support - desktop and mobile to all Conviva employees
- Provisioning and management of Corporate IT servers, network, remote access VPN, phone systems, and end-user systems
- Assist install, configure, test, and support AV systems, including video conferencing, Zoom rooms, and other audio products.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of Corporate IT servers, network, VPN, phone systems. Monitoring and troubleshooting of the same, and as events occur, manage them to resolution
- Maintain inventory levels for Hardware Procurement and manage Asset Tracking for the same
- Stay abreast of the enforcement of and periodic updates to Corporate Security, ensuring the security of all IT systems against threats of theft or loss of company data
- Manage the data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity systems
- Manage web-based tools and applications like Slack, Jira, Confluence etc.
Who You Are & What You've Done:
- 5+ years in IT Operations in Corporate IT environments
- 3+ years of experience with Office 365, Microsoft Active Directory, Atlassian products, and other productivity tools
- Proactive, friendly and upbeat, you can get the job done with limited direction and a willingness to pitch in whenever and wherever needed
- Extensive experience in Mac desktop/laptop environment
- Competency with cloud-based file management software
- Exposure to Wireless Controller / AP operations
- Good understanding of concepts such as DNS, DHCP, and Email
- Strong understanding of Mobile Device Management like JAMF or similar for enforcement of security measures, including anti-malware, and software patch management
- Configuring corporate Network Management - Routing, VLANS, L2/L3 Switch Management and remote access VPN is a plus
- Able to understand and adapt to rapidly changing priorities, pivoting from one task to other project-based tasks as needed
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
