About The Job
As a Development Engineer (In Test), your duties will include developing and maintaining reliable GUI, REST API, and Analytic automated tests and related automation frameworks.
You will also support the development and release of our products in a CI/CD environment by using various open-source automation tools and operational technologies like Jenkins, Git, Gerrit, Gradle etc. The position also requires you to collaborate with subject matter experts, designers, and other development team members worldwide to ensure our products are secure and of the highest quality.

What You'll Do
- Develop automated tests using frameworks like Robot, Playwright, Selenium etc.
- Program in one or more programming languages (Python, Java, TypeScript).
- Knowledge of tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Gerrit, GitHub, and Kubernetes.
- Create and maintain the highest-quality test automation that addresses specific test needs in a continuous deployment pipeline.
- Apply automated tests at every application stack layer, both inside and outside the continuous delivery pipeline.
- Work with the development team to promptly triage test failures with precision and accuracy, maintaining the health of the build pipeline.
- Experience with manual test case/test scenario development and execution.
- Utilize observability and monitoring tools to detect and remediate failures proactively.
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise products and their applications and keeping pace with emerging technologies.
- Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Additional Requirements
- Ensuring adherence to SAS standards such as performance, accessibility, internationalization, security, user interface and API, and adherence to third-party/open source and terminology standards.
- Programming languages (one or more): Java, Go, Python.
- Knowledge of any cloud providers like AWS, Google, and OpenStack.
- Experience in UNIX, GIT, Kubernetes, Docker, Containerization.
