We're looking for an Staff Software Development Engineer to be part of their Cyber Risk and Governance Team. Reporting to the Director, Software Engineering, you'll be responsible for:

• Developing large scale distributed data platforms/micro-services as part of critical internal Cyber Risk and Governance
• Developing and implementing best engineering practices to optimize team productivity and delivery timelines by operating in an Agile Environment
• Working cross-functionally with product management and distributed systems engineering teams to complete large scale projects with impact across the company

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• 8+ years of experience in the data services along with Bachelors Degree in Engineering/Computer Science with a strong focus on designing and building data acquisition and data processing pipelines
• Proficient in Python (preferred), Java, Scala, or Golang, with experience in cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experienced in microservices design, development, and deployment, with knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with big data or stream processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop/Apache Flink, Kafka, Kinesis, KSQL or equivalent
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch, including indexing, querying, performance tuning, and cluster management

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience in SIEM/UEBA products or similar Cyber Security analytics platforms
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated testing and deployment
• Experience in the cybersecurity industry
