JOB EXPERIENCE AT RELIANCE POWER LTD.: 1. Joined at Samalkot Gas Power Plant as Graduate Engineer Trainee. 2. Transferred to Sasan Ultra Mega Power Project, Singrauli, MP after completing six months at Samalkot Power Plant. 3. Involved in Boiler commissioning activities like Acid cleaning, Steam blowing, Furnace ATT (Air Tightness Test) and clean air velocity test for Coal mill system. 4. Member of Operation team for TG commissioning activities: Seal oil and stator water system for Generator flushing, Digital/Mechanical Electro-hydraulic governing system, High pressure (HP) and Low pressure (LP) Bypass system commissioning. 5. Member of Operation team during synchronization and Commercial Operating Date (COD) of 5 units of 6x660 MW Sasan UMPP and was responsible for boiler operation for unit no. 2 and four during COD. 6. Involved in Logic and Interlock checking of Boiler and Turbine during the commissioning process. 7. Involved in Auxiliary Boiler commissioning and preparation of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Auxiliary Boiler. RESPONSIBILITIES AT RELIANCE POWER LTD.:: 1. Operation Engineer for Boiler operation of unit#6 at Sasan UMPP. 2. Responsible for handling maintenance activities during Boiler shutdown. 3. Responsible for handling emergencies occurring due to abnormal behavior of power plant. 4. I was responsible preparing Standard operating procedure (SOP) for most of the Power plant equipment. 5. I was responsible for proper communication with various departments in power plant such as Ash Handling plant (AHP), Coal handling unit (CHP) and DM plant. ACHIEVEMENTS: 1. Sucessful interlock and protection logic checking for Boiler and Turbine. 2. COD (Commercial operation date) of 5 units out of 6 at Sasan UMPP (Ultra Mega Power Project). 3. Successful commissioning and operation of Auxiliary boiler required during start-up of the power plant.
