I am Royce Raju Beena, a Senior Software Engineer with 9 years of experience in the software development industry. I have strong proficiency in Python, Django, REST APIs, Android, and databases such as PostgreSQL and DynamoDB. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience working with AWS services, including Lambdas, Step Functions, API Gateways, Kinesis, Cloudwatch, Eventbridge, and SES. In my current role as a Senior Backend Developer at Enact Systems, I have implemented solar lifetime savings, API error handling, monthly reports, and ITC savings for the Enact Home consumer app. Previously, I co-founded Gigzoe, where I served as the CTO. I had the opportunity to architect and develop the backend server and database for our full-stack freelancer marketplace. Additionally, I played a vital role in securing pre-seed and seed funding rounds and facilitating the acquisition of intellectual property. I also developed client and expert Android native apps. Before that, I served as the Lead Android Engineer at Inmeik Tech, where I led the development of 4Sports, a sports-based social networking Android app focused on scouting for national football clubs. I began my career as an Associate Software Engineer at VMWare, where I contributed to the development and release of core features in secure chat application for enterprises. This included multiple file sharing and read receipts functionality. Some of my recent notable projects include Gigzoe, a full-stack freelance marketplace built using Python, Django, GCP, Gitlab CI/CD, Postgres, SendGrid, Zoom SDK, and Exotel. I also worked on Boolah, an Android and Django-based hackathon app that won first prize in the Amadeus Hack the Journey online hackathon. The app seamlessly integrated Amadeus APIs and Here Maps. I hold a B.Tech in Computer Science from the College of Engineering, Trivandrum. Outside of work, I am a level 10 local guide on Google Maps and actively participate in hackathons. Furthermore, I am an avid player of Fantasy Premier League (FPL).
