Job Description

Role:

• We are looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• This role involves automating deployments, ensuring security compliance, and optimising performance for scalable cloud solutions.
• You will work closely with developers, security teams, and stakeholders to ensure efficient DevOps processes and cloud operations.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy Azure-based infrastructure, including servers, databases, networking solutions (VPN, VNETs, subnets), and security controls.
• Configure and manage Azure DevOps pipelines, ensuring seamless software integration and deployment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Bicep, Terraform, ARM templates, and the Azure CLI.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI, and HIPAA standards.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, the Azure CLI, or other scripting languages.
• Use tools like Azure Monitor, application insights, and the ELK stack to ensure high availability and performance.
• Work with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.

Required skills:

• Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and DevOps.
• Experience in Azure services, CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab), and version control (GitHub, GitLab).
• Proficiency in IAC tools like Bicep, Terraform, ARM templates, and Ansible.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell or similar languages.
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with security and compliance standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI, HIPAA).

Preferred skills:

• Experience in healthcare IT with knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
• Relevant certifications such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Administrator, CKA, CISSP.
• Experience with Azure Service Fabric and Azure API Management.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience in an agile environment.
• Up to 10% travel may be required for customer site visits.
• Experience leading large-scale DevOps programs with a problem-solving mindset.
