What challenge awaits you?

As a Business Analyst in Bloomreach, you will be part of the Professional Services team and will work on value measurement and monitoring, analyzing global e-commerce trends across industries and providing insights to our customers and internal teams about the value Bloomreach provides.

You will work with a wide range of teams - Customer-facing Field teams, Product, Marketing, Engineering & Finance - to name a few.

You should be scrappy, hands-on, and passionate about data and the e-commerce industry in order to provide value for our customers. You will also uncover insights, which you will document and communicate within the organization to help improve our product and business processes. You will be working with some of the top e-retailers in the world, across a myriad of industries.

Your job will be to:

  • Analyze customer website data from A/B tests and website trends to help show how much value Bloomreach is driving through its product(s) and features
  • Collaborate with field teams to understand and use data to build a long term partnership with customers
  • Contribute in the development of self-serve reports, as part of the new Business Intelligence muscle being built within the company
  • Leverage data to identify industry benchmarks and provide actionable insights to BR customers
  • Support Marketing/PR activities by identifying data trends that help BR cement its position as thought leader in the industry
  • Utilize data to empower Finance and Pricing teams to identify and negotiate through renewals and growth opportunities

You should have the following experience and qualities:

  • BA/BS in business, economics, sciences, arts, humanities, or engineering degree, with a quantitative background
  • 2 years or more in an analytical/quantitative role or Business Intelligence (BI) role
  • Proficient skills in using spreadsheets and SQL
  • Ability to work as a team player and also demonstrate ownership in handling projects independently
  • Excellent skills, both verbal and written, to communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Experience with Tableau, Google Analytics, Coremetrics, and Adobe SiteCatalyst (Omniture) is a strong plus
  • Experience with data modeling and data warehousing concepts
  • Exposure to A/B Testing or Multivariate Testing is a plus
