About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in DevOps practices, with a strong focus on Kubernetes (AKS, EKS), Terraform, Gitlab/GitHub, Docker, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps Pipeline. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines, managing infrastructure as code, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our cloud environments.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, Implement, and Manage CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD, and Azure DevOps Pipeline.
• Kubernetes Management: Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes on AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and EKS (Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use Terraform to define and provision infrastructure on cloud platforms.
• Containerization: Build, deploy, and manage Docker containers.
• Source Code Management: Use Gitlab/Github for source code management, branching strategies, and pull requests.
• Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system availability and performance.
• Automation and Scripting: Write scripts and automation tools to improve system and deployment efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational policies.

Technical Skills (Essential) :

• Kubernetes: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, specifically AKS and EKS.
• Terraform: Strong knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• CI/CD Tools: Proficiency with Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD, and Azure DevOps Pipeline.
• Containerization: Experience with Docker and container orchestration.
• Source Control: Solid understanding of Git workflows and version control systems (Gitlab/Github).
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms preferably Azure else AWS.
• Scripting Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar

Technical Skills (Desirable) :

• Exposure to Financial Services Domain:
• Experience working in the financial services industry, understanding the specific challenges and requirements of this sector.
• Advanced Cloud Services:
• Familiarity with advanced cloud services such as Azure Functions, or other serverless computing services.
• Configuration Management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet):
• Experience with configuration management tools to automate system configurations, manage system state, and ensure consistency across environments.
• Advanced Kubernetes deployment tools like FluxCD, ArgoCD etc.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Security: Knowledge of security best practices and tools.

Location: Pune
