Role : Director Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security. You will play a key role in driving the success of our organization by providing expert-level networking solutions and supporting our growing network requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and implement network infrastructure solutions in accordance with industry best practices and business requirements.
• Manage and maintain complex network connectivity, including VPNs, MPLS, and other wide area network technologies.
• Utilize your deep knowledge and expertise in AWS networking to design and implement highly available and scalable network solutions on the AWS platform.
• Configure and manage load balancers, particularly F5, to ensure optimal traffic distribution and high performance across multiple servers and applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex network-related issues, minimizing downtime and maximizing network performance.
• Implement and manage network security solutions, including firewalls (such as Palo Alto) and intrusion prevention systems, to protect the network infrastructure from unauthorized access and potential threats.
• Perform regular network monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning to ensure the network meets current and future business needs.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing network enhancements or upgrades as appropriate.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior network engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster professional growth within the team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10-15 years of hands-on experience in network engineering roles, with a strong focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures.
• Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of AWS networking, including VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, and other related services.
• Proven expertise in configuring and managing load balancers, specifically F5.
• Strong understanding of complex connectivity technologies such as VPNs, MPLS, and BGP.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing network security solutions, including firewalls (such as Palo Alto), intrusion prevention systems, and other related tools.
• Solid understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and TCP/IP fundamentals.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify and resolve network-related issues effectively.
• Strong project management and documentation skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, or related industry certifications will be highly regarded.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
