What You Will Do

• Build, lead, develop and provide hands-on leadership for top-notch engineers
• Create clear career paths for team members to help them grow with regular and deep mentoring, attract and retain top talent keeping long-term goals in mind
• Drive strategy and vision across teams in a rapidly evolving environment
• Work on multiple initiatives simultaneously and guide the engineers based on the priorities.
• Engage and manage a team of software engineers, including task planning and code reviews.
• In this role, you will lead a team of application and front-end / Back-end engineers to drive innovation in full-stack product development, while relentlessly improving performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Take accountability for moving the key business metrics within your area, provide thought partnership to the product team, and ensure collaboration among product, engineering, and business operation teams.
• Drive agility in execution, create a strong team culture of responsiveness by leading by example and own decision-making around prioritization for better predictability

All About You

• Overall 12-15 years of software industry experience with 3+ years of managing cross-functional software projects in the BFSI space.
• You are an excellent communicator - able to understand and explain complex ideas clearly, orally or in writing.
• You are a self-starter capable of identifying problems or areas of opportunity and implementing solutions.
• You must be able to motivate a team, inspiring folks to do their best work.
• You must have a solid understanding and hands-on experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, RESTful web services, Kafka, Mysql, and NoSQL.
• Experience in Microservice architecture and distributed applications.
• Experience in developing banking and financial products. Lending domain experience is preferred.
• Solid understanding and experience integrating as well as building scalable and performing web services.
• Experience identifying and remediating vulnerabilities
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
