Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Platform Development: Lead the design, development, and implementation of Vinci’s platform product, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical direction and mentorship to the engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Product Strategy: Work closely with the founding team to define the product roadmap, prioritizing features and improvements based on user feedback and market trends.
• Architecture Design: Build scalable, robust, and secure systems and infrastructure that can support the company’s platform growth.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, and establish best practices for software development and deployment.
• Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and marketing, to ensure seamless integration of the platform product with other company offerings.
• Innovation: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in the GenAI video space, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation within the platform product.

Good to Haves:

• Experience: 1 to 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in building and scaling platform products, especially in B2B SaaS.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., ReactJS, NextJS, Python), and experience with database & cloud platforms (e.g., MongoDB, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Leadership: Proven track record of leading engineering teams and delivering high-quality software products.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Attributes: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and a startup mindset with a willingness to take ownership and drive projects to completion.
• AI-first Building: Experience in a startup environment, familiarity with DevOps practices, knowledge of machine learning, and AI-aided development (e.g. Cursor AI).
