Overview: As the Lead of Infrastructure, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT and Cloud infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding and hands on experience of networking, hardware, software, security protocols, and cloud technologies. You will lead a team of infrastructure professionals, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our technology systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for the organization's IT infrastructure, aligning with business objectives and future growth.
2. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of infrastructure engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure team effectiveness and professional development.
3. Infrastructure Design: Design robust and scalable IT infrastructure solutions that meet the organization's current and future needs, incorporating best practices and emerging technologies.
4. Implementation and Maintenance: Implement and maintain network infrastructure, servers, storage systems, virtualization technologies, and cloud platforms.
5. Security Management: Ensure the security of the organization's infrastructure through the implementation of security best practices, monitoring systems, and compliance with relevant regulations.
6. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with infrastructure vendors, negotiating contracts, evaluating products and services, and ensuring service level agreements are met.
7. Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage the infrastructure budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions that deliver value to the organization.
8. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize disruptions to business operations in the event of a disaster or system failure.
9. Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams, departments, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure solutions with other systems and applications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience (8 years) in managing IT infrastructure, preferably in a large enterprise environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• In-depth knowledge of networking, server administration, virtualization, cloud computing, and storage technologies.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, MCSE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent, are a plus.
