The IT Compliance Analyst has a thorough understanding of the compliance and risk. This role will support the IT Risk and Compliance team in the execution of processes, controls, and risk assessments around Yext’s IT environment with a focus on third party vendor assessments,SOX, and GDPR. The role will also help design tools to improve managements IT control across the organization. The role will require an execution-oriented and strong team player who can work across the organization to help manage our audit requirements, identify process improvements and lead themselves and others in project completion. The ideal candidate will have a firm grasp of governance, risk and controls in a cloud based IT environment with technical understanding of IT infrastructure and third party vendor assessment. This role is fully on-site in our Hyderabad, India office.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate third party/vendor risk assessments on behalf of client(s); follow-up with resources on status of assigned tasks and drive towards completion
- Coordinate and drive to completion specific compliance tasks and projects in collaboration with Compliance team leadership
- Execute a suite of monitoring controls to ensure an effective internal control environment for third party/vendor risk, SOX, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements.
- Assist management in development and implementation of remediation plans related to IT controls and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Support the management in identifying / investigating key technology risks and execution of improvements to IT processes.
- Provide guidance to business teams on Third Party compliance and its on-going objectives
- Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management
- Working collaboratively with other company members and internal senior management
- Basic technical writing skills for incident report writing, customer interaction, and process documentation
What You Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Technology/Systems, Computer Science, or other relevant area required
- Seeking a candidate with 5+ years of experience within IT Compliance
- Desire and ability to learn on a continual basis and quickly apply that learning to client activities; strong desire to take ownership of initiatives
- Ability to think critically and work both independently and as part of an overall project team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Industry certification(s) strongly preferred (CISA or CISM)
- Understanding of basic risk assessment approaches/methodologies
- Experience with CyberGRX a plus
