Job Overview As an IT Support Engineer, you'll be the go-to person for our employees, providing top-notch technical assistance and driving solutions that boost productivity. You'll use your scripting skills to automate tasks and collaborate with engineering to build a secure, zero-trust IT environment. Your Playground +Onboarding and offboarding employees, including new hire orientations, +provisioning/deprovisioning hardware and accounts. +Providing day-to-day IT support (help desk, troubleshooting). +Maintaining office technology (Zoom, Google Workspace, ). +Managing IT assets and keeping meticulous records. +Promoting IT best practices and escalating issues when needed. Tracking and resolving issues in our ticketing system (Jira Service Management). +Creating and updating technology documentation. +Continuously seeking ways to improve the user experience and internal processes. Your Strengths Scripting: You're comfortable writing low-code scripts in Python or other languages to automate tasks, particularly for on-call engineers in an AWS environment. AWS IAM: You have a solid understanding of AWS IAM and can implement, integrate, and maintain it for employee resource management. Technical Curiosity: You're always looking to expand your knowledge and stay ahead of the curve. Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: You're a logical thinker who can quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues. Communication Skills: You can clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Key Technologies: You're familiar with Okta, Kandji, Google Workspace, and other essential tools. Collaboration & Teamwork: You're a team player who enjoys working with others to achieve common goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Onboard and offboard employees, which includes: leading new hire orientations, provisioning and deprovisioning hardware, accounts, and access
  • Provide general IT support to all Oleria employees (help desk/service desk, troubleshooting, etc.)
  • Maintain and provide technical assistance with all office technology (printers, Zoom Rooms, and more)
  • Own IT asset management and ensure accurate and actionable records are kept of required equipment
  • Promote best practices as established by IT and escalate inquiries as necessary to the IT Leadership
  • Track, resolve, or dispatch all issues in our ticketing system (Jira Service Management)
  • Create and update technology documentation for internal IT teams and for Oleria employees
  • Have a constant drive to improve the experience of our users, and our internal processes: "How can I make things better?"
  • Implement, integrate, and maintain IAM it for employee resource management
  • Be able to prioritize and change focus when necessary
  • Write automation scripts leveraging Python or other languages as appropriate for improved efficiency
  • Have a drive to learn and grow
  • Flexibility to cover both US and India times zones as required; 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM IST and 9:00 PM - 1:00 AM IST

Skills Required:

  • 2 to 4 years of corporate IT experience, ideally with startup companies
  • Deep understanding of computer fundamentals and troubleshooting (Mac, Linux, cloud technologies)
  • Experience writing low-code scripts in Python or other languages to automate tasks, particularly for on-call engineers.
  • Experience working with Okta, Kandji, Google Workspace, Zscaler, SSO
  • IAM implementation, integration and maintenance experience
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm for building processes in a growing company
  • Experience supporting remote international teams using tools like Slack, Zoom and Google Meet
  • Security and compliance-focused mindset
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Flexibility to cover US and India time zones as needed
  • Capable of supporting all aspects of job responsibilities outlined above
