Outcomes

Job Summary The Senior Software Engineer works collaboratively with engineering management, product managers and other software engineers to develop new product offerings and improve existing solutions in the e-commerce industry. Performs analysis, design and development of complex modules along with super visioning other junior software developers. Accountabilities
 

  • Develop and coordinate estimates for software defects, new features and enhancements that are included in service releases.
  • Participate in discussions regarding new product development and product enhancements.
  • Design, document, code and deploy new features and defects for system related issues.
  • Participate in high level estimates for proposed projects, planning for future features, and task estimates for software defects and features at sprint planning.
  • Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
  • Code Review and debug code   Basic Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts
  • Client-side frameworks – React, jQuery , Bootstrap, HTML & CSS
  • Strong development experience in the .NET technology – 3.1/6.1 . Net Core and .NET framework, ASP.NET MVC 3/4/5, ASP.NET Web API
  • Languages - C#, Typescript, Java script, SQL
  • Good understanding on DB concepts in SQL Server, stored procedure, ADO .NET, Entity Framework 6.4 (ORM)
  • Knowledge on Azure DevOps, CI/CD - Jenkins, GitHub/BitBucket
  • Implementation knowledge of RestAPI, SOAP, 3rd Party Integrations
  • Automated unit testing – MSTEST/NUNIT
  • Good understanding of Design patterns
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Good to have knowledge on SSO, Form Factor Authentication
  • Available for overlap during US hours for production deployment
  • Good grasp of standard SDLC / Agile-Scrum development methodologies Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5 – 8 years of experience in development experience
  • Experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira or Confluence
  • Knowledge on AWS cloud services would be desirable
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail and problem resolution
  • Integration of SonarQube, Dynatrace, Checkmarx tools for NFR management
  • Good understanding on Security guidelines, Penetration testing, Scalable application development
