Network Analyst

Location : HYDERABAD

Job Summary:

The Mid-Level Network Analyst is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's network infrastructure. They ensure the smooth operation of network systems, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network performance. The analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement network solutions and provides technical expertise to support network-related projects.

Responsibilities:

1.     Design and implement network infrastructure to meet organizational requirements.

2.     Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers, WiFi.

3.     Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.

4.     Perform regular network maintenance tasks, including firmware upgrades, patch management, and security audits.

5.     Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network solutions and support project deployments.

6.     Provide technical expertise and support for network-related projects and initiatives.

7.     Conduct network assessments and capacity planning to ensure scalability and optimal performance.

8.     Stay updated on industry trends and technologies related to network infrastructure.

9.     Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

10.  Assist with network security measures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in network administration, including configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network devices.
3. Strong knowledge of networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
4. Familiarity with network security principles and technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
5. Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
6. Proficient in network routing and switching protocols, such as OSPF, BGP, and STP.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
9. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
10. Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are a plus.
11. Experience with Sophos firewall and UniFi wireless devices and setup.
12. Strong communication skills.
