Who We're Looking For

The position requires individual to play a pivotal role in building strong technical teams, nurturing technical talent and pioneering best engineering practices. The incumbent will be a key contributor in proposing frameworks, data structures, innovative algorithms, troubleshooting techniques and mathematical concepts to help build highly scalable and stable systems. The incumbent will be on forefront of efforts at increasing throughput of systems to scale to enormous number of transactions a day. He/ she will be required to advise teams in matter of adopting a new technology and must be able to articulate pros and cons of any proposed solution with data to back up the claims.-

Some of What You'll Do

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Define Solution architecture that meets functional/ performance/ user experience requirements; derive software modules with the integration interfaces.
• Task break-down and associated Level of Effort for deliverables.
• RFPs – Define Technical sections of RFPs meeting customers’ expectations that include capacity assessments, scalability, high availability assessments in addition to the functional requirements.
• Prototyping and Proof-of-concepts related to demonstration of new technology/ concept.
• Co-ordination with Quality Assurance team for Verification and Validation.
• Co-ordination with Product/ Program/ Operations Teams to support software releases.
• Co-ordination with Customer support/ Customer(s) in supporting the resolution of customer issues.

Job Requirements:

• 10-15 years of Software Development Experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/ Electronics or equivalent.
• Experience in Java/J2EE and other related technologies.
• Expertise in Microservice Architecture and building cloud native applications.
• Experience in full stack development, with hands on NodeJs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills of complex systems.
• Knowledge of SDLC.
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS design and concepts.
• Good exposure to SQL query tuning & database performance tuning.
• Experience in building/ designing highly scalable products on various platforms (Linux / Windows).
• Extensive Experience in Software design and architecture of Enterprise systems.
• Extensive Experience working in telecommunications and wireless industry knowledge.
• Working experience with Blockchain/Hyperledger is an added advantage.
• Extensive experience in performance tuning heavy volume applications.
• Experience/ Knowledge of GSM/ roaming implementations.
• Experience working with teams in diverse geographic locations.
• Cross functional group co-ordination experience like QA, Operations, Release Engineering etc.
• Strong knowledge in deriving statistical and benchmarking software products.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Extensive experience in software architecture/design patterns and data structures.
• Extensive Experience working with third party vendor tools (e.g. monitoring, scalability, performance tuning).
• Highly motivated and passionate to working/evaluating new technologies to improve the existing products.
