We are seeking a talented QA Lead Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to the success of Galvix.
Position Overview:
As a QA Engineer at Galvix, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our platform. You will work closely with our development team to test software releases, identify defects, and help deliver a seamless user experience. This is a remote-only role for candidates based in India.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify software functionality, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to understand requirements and provide input on testability and quality aspects.
- Conduct both manual and automated testing to validate software functionality and identify potential issues.
- Perform regression testing and ensure the stability of new features and enhancements.
- Identify, isolate, and document bugs, issues, and defects, and work with the development team to resolve them.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of software quality and testing processes.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in QA and testing methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, preferably in a SaaS or software development environment.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in test planning, test case development, and execution.
- Familiarity with both manual and automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for test automation.
- Solid understanding of web technologies, APIs, and databases.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress.
- Knowledge of performance testing and load testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and working in an Agile/DevOps environment.
