About us

Zenskar is building new-age billing and pricing infrastructure for SaaS companies. As SaaS pricing evolves from vanilla subscription-based models to more granular usage-based models, billing and pricing infrastructure needs to be completely reimagined.

Zenskar is founded by Apurv Bansal & Saurabh Agrawal, who sold their previous startups to Snapdeal and Gaana respectively. They have experience at organizations such as Google, Basepair, Elevation Capital, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, and Harvard Business School. We are funded by marquee global investors, including Bessemer Venture Partners.

We are building our founding team, and are looking for folks who can optimize for quick iteration, and fast deployment and have a great developer experience. Ideally, you are excited about learning and meaningfully shaping the trajectory of an early-stage startup from Day 0 in its journey.

Learning

• You will work on challenging problems and cutting-edge technologies, ship (a lot!), and engage in some of the most meaningful work of your life.
• On the backend side, we are building high throughput, high-scale data pipes to deal with the usage data of companies of any size.
• On the front-end side, we are building low-code interfaces for various parts of the billing stack to let companies design the best tools for themselves.
• You will have to think about all the people and systems that interact with the finance stack of a company, modularize the different parts of the stack well and build the correct abstractions. This includes systems like the CPQ (Configure-Price-Quote) that Sales people interact with, the metering system that Developers manage, and the Billing, Payments, and Accounting systems that Finance manages.

We’re building our founding team and are looking for a visual designer who can take ownership and work on a wide variety of tasks, including graphic design, branding, social media infographics, videos, and illustrations. We want to share Zenskar’s story and educate our customers about the product through different channels (presentations, website, social media, blogs, etc.)

You will champion the creative showcasing of Zenskar's capabilities and collaborate closely with the founders.

Role: Graphic / Illustration Designer - (Freelancer / Full / Part Time)

Location: Remote 

Experience: 1 to 4 Years 

Role & Responsibilities of Remote Graphic /Illustration Designer (Freelancer/Full/Part Time)

• Conceptualize, design, and create a wide range of visually appealing and innovative designs for our blog, website, sales (product storytelling for customer pitches), newsletters/emails, social media, etc.

• Assist in developing and maintaining Zenskar’s visual identity, while also ensuring consistency across all collateral.

• Utilize design principles to arrange text, images, and other graphical elements in an aesthetically pleasing and visually balanced manner, ensuring readability and effective communication.

• Understand design requirements, incorporate feedback, and deliver high-quality visual assets within specified deadlines.

• Maintain a well-organized digital asset library, ensuring all design files are properly labeled, version-controlled, and easily accessible for team members.

• Confidently communicate and influence design decisions while welcoming cross-functional collaboration

Key Qualifications

• Prior relevant experience (Visual design, graphic design, illustration design, communication design)
• Strong command & expertise in illustration design
• Detail-oriented and self-driven individual with high ownership and a strong work ethic
• Entrepreneurial mindset; enjoys working with a fast-paced team
• Not taking yourself too seriously :)
• A portfolio that shows your creativity, process, and grasp of graphic design fundamentals
• Works efficiently and finds ways to deliver results in tight turnarounds
• Aesthetic appeal - you have an eye for beautiful designs/visuals
• Excellent communication skills; aptitude to articulate, defend, and critique design choices
• Proficiency in standard creative software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Adobe suite, Figma); ingenuous to use unfamiliar tools to hack together a solution when needed
