Research Analyst and Team Manager

Requirements:

• 1-3 years managerial experience of a small team
• Empathetic leader that cares for results and team members in order to get the best from their team.
• Strong understanding of financial terms, valuations, balance sheet, etc
• Ability to understand insurance terms and financials across a variety of geographies and put those into global context
• Proficient in building financial models
• Data skills - ability to sift through large amounts of data, draw conclusions and create formulaic capabilities in Google Sheets and/or Excel
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate and express views and opinions clearly and definitively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy and diligence in ensuring high quality research output.
• Analytical and numerical skills along with skills in advanced excel and database use (e.g. Bloomberg, Refinitiv).
• SQL, Database usage, et.al . a tremendous plus
• Demonstrated ability to work in a time sensitive environment
