Job Description

Location: Bangalore (Remote)

We are in search of a seasoned Senior Data Architect with 10-15 years of experience, particularly someone with a solid background in SQL Server-based platforms or application architectures and a profound expertise in Azure data pipelines, Data Lake, Databricks, and Power BI. The role is pivotal for evolving our data architecture, ensuring data integrity, advancing our analytics capabilities, leveraging data in decision-making processes, and extracting data for AI-based solutions. The ideal candidate will not only possess technical prowess in managing complex data ecosystems but also demonstrate experience in team handling, team management, issue tracking, and resolution across the data landscape of the company. Exposure to AI/ML technologies is a significant plus.

Key Responsibilities

· Architect and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable data architecture, optimizing system performance through regular tuning.

· Develop and manage Azure data pipelines, addressing data complexity and volume management.

· Implement and oversee Data pipeline-based solutions for efficient data storage, processing, and security.

· Utilize Azure Data Lake, bricks for advanced big data processing and analytics, supporting machine learning projects.

· Create and deploy effective data models and reporting solutions using Power BI.

· Lead performance tuning, error handling, and anomaly detection in data systems to ensure high data quality and consistency.

· Direct data governance, security, and compliance initiatives, adhering to data protection laws.

· Manage a team of data professionals, overseeing project allocation, workflow, and professional development.

· Implement robust issue tracking and resolution mechanisms to address challenges swiftly across the data landscape.

· Facilitate strong stakeholder management, liaising between technical teams, business units, and external partners.

· Extract and manage datasets for AI-based solutions, collaborating with AI/ML teams to foster data-driven innovation.

· Keep abreast of the latest trends in data architecture, AI, and machine learning, integrating best practices into our data ecosystem.

Required Skills and Experience

· 10-15 years of experience in data architecture, with a strong foundation in SQL Server platforms and application architectures.

· Must have played Data architect role for at least 5 years

· Expertise in Azure Data services, including Azure Data Pipelines, Data Lake, and Databricks.

· Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and BI tools, especially Power BI.

· Demonstrated ability to design and deploy complex data solutions in cloud environments, with a focus on AI/ML readiness.

· Comprehensive experience in data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.

· Proven track record of team management, including issue tracking and resolution across the data landscape.

· Exposure to AI/ML technologies, with practical experience in data extraction for AI-based solutions.

· Exceptional leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Education

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related fields. Additional certifications in AI/ML are advantageous.
