What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Cloud Productivity Platform team, you will work with various technologies to develop and maintain code for a Platform which helps in improving Developer’s Productivity. This will be a one-stop shop Portal where a Developer can come to manage his day-to-day operations related to building and deploying the Code, managing the clusters on which deployments happen to name a few. A successful person in this role will have a flexible attitude combined with an aptitude for interacting with cross functional teams to learn and deliver. This person would also mentor junior engineers in the team to drive some of the Projects to completion as a group.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager of Engineering.

Responsibility

• Perform development tasks as a key contributor by consistently delivering complex engineering projects and assignments on time and to the highest quality
• Collaborate with cross-geo teams
• Be self driven to create POCs and experiment with new technologies
• Lead and oversee development of multiple minor to major technologies and associated project teams; ensure timely and high quality deliverables across multiple engineering projects and teams
• Lead self and others through new concept development and implementation
• Take full ownership of some of our components, from development to testing to performance tuning

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

• 8+ years development experience
• BE/BTech degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience working with JAVA, C# or other Object Oriented programming
• Experience working with Cloud based backend systems

Preferred

• Prior experience of building Enterprise grade Tools with Public Cloud Usage
• Whilst this role is focused on Back-End engineering, experience with full stack development in one or more of Front End Technologies like REACT or other typescript
• A track record of being a self-starter
• Practical experience with any Cloud technologies: AWS, Azure etc
