Role Summary:

The Technical Content Writer is responsible for creating and managing high-quality documentation tailored to both B2B and B2C audiences, enhancing user understanding and engagement with our product.

The Key areas will include defining documentation strategies, creating and updating materials for product releases, addressing the needs of enterprise clients with in-depth guides, and innovating content delivery across formats and platforms. The writer will also focus on optimizing knowledge management practices and continuously improving documentation based on user feedback and performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

Documentation Structure and Strategy:

  • Constantly improve the documentation structure to ensure consistency and accessibility across all materials.
  • Refine the overall strategy for documentation, identifying areas for improvement and keeping content relevant.
  • Evaluate and adapt content to meet the needs of different user bases (e.g., B2B enterprise clients and B2C customers).

Content Creation and Updates:

  • Create and maintain documentation for product releases, including release notes, feature highlights, and updates.
  • Regularly update and enhance support materials, such as:
  • User manuals
  • FAQs
  • Troubleshooting guides
  • Platform-specific guides
  • Develop comprehensive customer use case documents that illustrate real-world applications of the product.
  • Develop comprehensive, technically accurate content tailored to enterprise audiences.
  • Create and maintain implementation guides for specific use cases of enterprise grade solutions.

Knowledge Management and Analytics:

  • Identify gaps in internal and external knowledge bases and address them as needed.
  • Track documentation performance using analytics tools, measuring KPIs like usage, relevance, and engagement, and optimize content accordingly.

Content Innovation and adaptability:

  • Adapt documentation for multiple formats (PDFs, web pages, eBooks, brochures) and ensure compatibility across platforms.
  • Develop creative and visually engaging content, including infographics, flowcharts, and video tutorials.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in technical writing, tools, and enterprise technologies to bring fresh ideas to the documentation process.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with experience in technical writing and/or technical documentation for software systems.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in Enterprise SaaS or related fields.
  • Proven expertise in creating and managing content for B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Hands-on experience with help authoring tools like Confluence wiki, Document 360, Adobe RoboHelp, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of enterprise technologies and frameworks.
  • Strong ability to create customer-centric content such as release notes, user manuals, and customer success stories.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts (password management, encryption, compliance standards) is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical skills to identify gaps and track documentation performance.
  • Expertise in managing documentation structures, version control, and creating strategies to redefine content.
