Looking for Software Engineering Manager/Leader with expertise in Node.js, React, SQL, and Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure). He will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers and driving the successful delivery of projects within the technology stack. This role requires a combination of technical proficiency, leadership abilities, and strong management skills.

Location: Hybrid ( Delhi/Mumbai and Pune)

Role & Responsibilities of Software Engineering Manager/Leader

Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead and manage a team of software engineers working with the Node.js, React, SQL, and Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) technology stack.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to help team members excel in their roles.
• Set clear objectives, goals, and project priorities, aligning them with the organization's strategic objectives.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team, promoting knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Resolve conflicts or issues within the team promptly and create a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Adhere to and promote company values: integrity, competence, and care.

• Project and Product Management:
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand software requirements, prioritize project tasks, and define project scope.
  • Plan and allocate resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery within agreed timelines and budget constraints.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintain a strong focus on software quality, ensuring adherence to coding standards, software development best practices, and testing methodologies.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge and expertise in Node.js, React, SQL, and Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team, assisting with complex problem-solving, architectural decisions, and code reviews.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies related to Node.js, SQL, and Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), and ensure the team remains current with industry best practices.
  • Participate in the software development process when required, contributing to code reviews, feature development, and bug fixes.
• Communication and Collaboration:
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders to provide project updates, discuss requirements, and address any concerns.
  • Foster a culture of open communication within the team, ensuring clear and timely information flow and encouraging collaboration and teamwork.
• Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, increased efficiency, and enhanced software development practices within the technology stack.
  • Drive initiatives to streamline development workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and improve overall team productivity.
  • Implement agile methodologies or other appropriate development frameworks to optimize team performance and project delivery within the technology stack.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working at a dynamic, fast-paced startup, especially with complex B2B products.
• Proven experience as a software engineer with a strong focus on Node.js, React, SQL, and Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) development.
• Demonstrated experience managing software engineering teams and delivering complex projects utilizing the technology stack.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Node.js, React, SQL, and AWS.
• Knowledge of other related technologies and tools within the technology stack ecosystem.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management principles.
• Experience with software quality assurance principles and practices.
